My Christmas Decor.

I love Decorating. This year I was able to add a new fun color to our Christmas Tree. I found the orange ornaments and the poinsetteas at Dollar tree. I started with the green ornaments for the tree our first Christmas together as a married couple and love the modern twist it gives to a timeless Christmas color. The urn that the tree is sitting in was a yard sale item from my cousin. It is perfect to display the tree on top of the end table (out of the reach of little fingers). Eden loves the tree lights and gets excited when they are turned on each night. Only a few more weeks to enjoy the Christmas decor.

Happy Halloween

Eden went trick or treating with her friends at childcare yesterday. Doesn't she make the cutest bunny. Eden's First Halloween has been a lot of fun.

Today for Halloween Eden is wearing her bat shirt. I got the rinestone decale at Joanns for 1.00 and ironed it onto her onsie. Isn't she a sweetie.

Stitching

This is my Halloween stitch of Frankenstein. I found an out line picture that I liked, shrunk it down on a copy machine. Then I traced it onto the fabric and traced the lines with embroidery floss. It turned out really cute. I also really like the frame I found to go with it. I have really enjoyed Frank this Halloween.

Halloween Decor.

I just found the great blue frame at Big Lots for 4.00. It fits perfectly in my living room. I still need to find a photo for it but I could not wait to display it.
I made my creepy table runner with fabric left over from projects at school. I think it turned out so cute and the perfect thing for my coffee table.
I got the EEK frame idea from a blog called Joys of Home you can see the link on my side bar. I love to decorate for the holidays. I have been looking at a lot of home decor blogs lately and have found lots of fun ideas. I can't wait to change my decor to thanksgiving and bring out my little pilgrims.

Pumpkin Patch

We spent the weekend at grandma's house. We had so much fun spending time with my brothers and sisters and their kids. Lanelle had an Achievement day activity with her girls from church. It sounded like fun and I wanted some pictures of Eden in a pumpkin patch so we tagged along. We rode a hay wagon through the apple orchard and ended at the pumpkin patch. Eden was more interested in the dirt on the ground than the pumpkins and I got my fall pictures that I wanted.

Family Wall

I found these wall stickers at The Dollar Tree. This is my very favorite dollar store. I find many great items for my decorating obsession. This is my latest find along with a few picture frames and great fall decor.

Quilt Show

My mom my sister and I went to the Springville Museum of Art Quilt show. It was a lot of fun to see all of the quilt patterns and fabrics. I enjoy seeing other peoples work and admiring the craftsmanship.

Labor Day week end

 
We spent the labor day weekend in Park City. We stayed in a condo and had lots of fun at the pool. We went to Park City main Street for dinner. We rode the lift and saw a lot of mustangs. There was a mustang car show just down the street from the condo that we stayed in. It was a lot of fun and great to get away with family.

Bear Lake

My sister was able to score a great deal on a cabin at Bear Lake. My three sisters and my nieces and nephews had so much fun playing in the blue, blue water and enjoying the beautiful sandy beach. Even grandma got her toes in the water. We also enjoyed some of the local cuisine. Yes we had one of the famous raspberry shakes and it was delicious.

Emily's Craft Corner

Some of the things I have been doing lately. My sisters and I have had a lot of fun making hair accessories for our girls. You just need a few flowers (from the dollar store), some ribbon, clips, a little bling maybe some buttons and a glue gun. They are very fun for Little girls. Most of the accessories you see Eden wearing in the photos are made by me.

Ute Stampede

We went to the Ute Stampede in Nephi, it was July 10-12. (it takes me awhile to post things sorry) We went to the Horse parade and the Rodeo on Thursday night. My Brother Ken was roping. It is fun to watch my brothers rope once in awhile. I spent the rest of the weekend at my moms with my sisters. Here are some of the photos from the parade and rodeo.

Eden's Baby Blessing

Sunday, July 6 was Eden's baby blessing in church. It was a great experience with lots of family and friends there in support. It's amazing how much we have grown to love her in these short 3 months. You forget what life was like without her. Afterward we had a wonderful lunch in the gazebo at our townhome. Thank you to everyone who attended and made it such a special day for us.

4th of July

For the 4th of July we went up to Clint's sisters house in North Ogden and went to the parade in the morning. Later we came back down and swam at our pool. We had a BBQ with Clint's parents and finished the night by watching fireworks in Murray. It is always fun to get together with family and celebrate this great nation. I found a kitchen that I really liked on Rate my space. The home owner gave detailed instructions on how to acheive the look. So I decided to try it. What do you think? This picture is the before

First Post

Hey everyone we decided to jump on the bandwagon of having a family blog. I think it will mainly be used for sharing news, pics, and videos of Eden. She is already 12 weeks old!!! At her 2 month check up she was 10 lbs 8 oz and 23 and 3/4ths in. So she is average in weight and in the 90th percentile of height. I wonder where she got that from. Check back often and we will try to keep it up to date.
