1st Birthday

Kora turned 1. What a cutie. She is walking, and talking and being a big stinker. Her new word is DA Daaaa. Clint is really excited about that. We had fun celebrating her birthday. Look how cute her cake turned out. Thanks to pinterest for the idea. It turned out to be a great day.

Presto Change-o

Look what I can do. You have to move your curser across the picture to see it. This is awesome. I am so excited to use this for before and after pictures. I learned it from www.theletteredcottage.net
Go check out this blog if you love interiors. Layla and Kevin are incredible.

Kora's Blessing

Kora in her blessing outfit. She looks so beautiful.
I designed and made her dress, made her bloomers from a tutorial on someone's blog,
I searched the internet for ideas on the hair piece. I wanted it to look a little vintage.
I also found inspirtaion on line for her shoes, but you can't see them in the pics.

Pottery Barn Style

This is the Pottery Barn Pillow that I wanted to copy. Do you think I came close?

I have seen on multiple blogs people creating the Pottery Barn Sweater Pillows. I really love cable knit so naturally I loved the pillows. When my favorite sweater got shrunk in the laundry I wanted to cry. Then the thought of it becoming a pillow came to me and I was a little excited about it. This was a way to save my favorite sweater and have the look of the Pottery Barn pillows. I love the way it looks on my striped chair the colors go so well together.
